As much as I like Jared, this will not happen. Peterson is too big, strong and fast for any Db in nky.

 

Holmes might lose, but i can guarantee if the ball goes Peterson's way, he will go get it.

 

Anyone who saw the hit he layed on Gage Erdman last week knows how physical and aggressive DaSean is.

 

And if I remember correctly, Peterson has had his way with SK the last few meetings.

Coston told me last week after the game he would be fine to play tonight but I trust your word that he is still out.

 

Cheek showed last week that he is more than capable of stepping in and moving the offense. I think he is a little bit faster than Coston and throws a better ball. BJ just seems to run the offense better.

I'm probably one of the few that has seen both teams early in the season. Here is my take

 

1. Sampson will be a tough RB for Holmes to stop in between the tackles because of his size and toughness. I do think that Holmes is big enough up front though and quick enough to keep Sampson from breaking off big chunks of yardage.

 

2. Holmes speed WILL cause SK problems. Holmes doesn't run the ball in between the tackles often but when they do, they use the big Scruggs kid who is probably 5'10 230. He constantly gets positive yardage because of how big he is and how hard he runs. Jon Scruggs will be the fastest kid on the field...period. He is very talented.

 

3. Holmes' weakness is defending the pass but they actually looked pretty solid against BWood last week. Kuntz has the opportunity for a big game through the air. On the other side, Peterson is going to be a tough match up for the SK db's. Bwood used Erdman and Suchanek to double on him last week and he was still making plays before the Erdman injury.

 

4. Up front, Holmes is every bit as big as SK and VERY physical. If you're a fan of the big fellas, this is a great match up to see. Standing on Holmes' sideline last week, I couldn't believe how big some of those kids were. Every bit of 6'0-6'2 and in the 250-290 range.

 

This will be a good game. Both teams excel in certain areas that will exploit the other on both sides of the ball.

Did you even watch the game last year swanson covered him the whole game even when he was cramping up an Peterson had one catch. Jared can run step for step with Peterson an he will show that tonight when he shuts him down
