I hear Montgomery County has two transfers and one foreign eachange student. The point point guard they brought in is from Las Vegas and he gave Shabazz Muhammed all he wanted this past summer in AAU. I look for MC to bring in one more solid player and they we likely run away with the Regional Title. No one can say anything about the kids transferring because Clark,Mason,Scott,Catholic and Trinity has done this for years. Clark won't be like the Clark we have seen in the past and will be down this year. Mason is young and may make a run but when it's all said and done Montgomery County will run away with he 10th Region.

Have to be talking about Scott Co and not Scott HS from the 10th Region? I don't think Scott HS has benefited from any high profile transfers over the past few years.

Mason has got some kids from Ohio who transferred in grade school and only Phil Barner from Bryan Station during the High School years. Manship transferred due to his Dad but was a non factor. I don't see how you can compare Mason County to what Montgomery is doing as well as Lex Cath or Scott County. Mason does not have any real job havens as we are losing jobs. Oh, I forgot, we got all the Maysville kids.

Teams in the 10th should be concerned about what is going on in Mt. Sterling. Not much information being released. I have heard of a player from Nevada that has transferred into Montgomery. WONDER if the KHSAA enforcement officers even exist!!

Any news on Cody Staggs? (transfer from Mason to Augusta). I know that Mason County granted him release and he played summer ball with the Panthers, but last I heard he had not yet been deemed eligible by the state.

Shooty moved in the 8th grade and played his entire career at Augusta. Cody began at Mason freshman year and is now transferring back to Augusta as a senior.
