10th Region Predictions

I think Montgomery will be the best in the region. You can build around a player like Prewitt. If I would have been coaching Montgomery last season in the regional tourney ,he would have been taking those shots at the end in the Mason Co game. I look for Scott and Campbell Co being in there. I don't look for much out of the rest. Even with transfers, you have to wonder why did they transfer and in some cases those kids don't help much.

Any updates on Nate McGovney's rehab?

Any updates on Nate McGovney's rehab?
Ironically I was getting ready to send a PM about that very thing just now. Maybe afi can update us a tad.

Nate has been working his tail off and the knee has been responding very well. He is ahead of schedule and is on track with his goal of missing zero varsity games.

^ Good to hear. I've yet to have the privilege of watching the kid play, but I've heard nothing but praise.

Great to hear. Look forward to keeping up with this young man this season.

Good stuff. I sure do wish him well.

Any word on transfers for Campbell County?

They picked up a jr. Andrew Kramer from BBHS. Good athlete, but does not have great basketball skills. Did not get many minutes even on JV. Scored a total of 17 points for the Mustangs JV team last year.

Heard there was a big kid that transferred in from out of town. Hearing from a few players that he will not be much help even with their lack of size.

I know a little off subject since this is a HS thread but a buddy of mine told me there is a 6'2 240lb kid playing for the Camels 6th grade team. WOW
