Sean Casey Out Of Retirement???

Featured Replies

Man I hope so...I cannot stand to listen to the second most negative team announcer. Of course, Thom is THE most negative!!!

He tells it like it is. That's why I love Marty.

Unless we consider Wayne Krenchicki, I question how serious we are about making an October run.

Might as well give Brad Gulden a call too.

I think he definitely tells it like it is, but I also think sometimes he's a crotchety old man who needs to cheer up and change his Depends.

NKU 23 started this to make Derek Lee seem like a better idea.

I used to play first base as well and I already have plans to attend the game tomorrow....... any thing I can do to help my Redlegs. Wish Casey was a realistic option but I just don't think that's the case.

I'm sure Kurt Stillwell has nothing to do.

This is a joke...

Super Sub Jimmy Stewart! Oh, wait he's passed on. Hell, Willie Mays is still alive, I guarantee you he won't strike out as much as Stubby. Can Bonds play first? Where is Manny?

I would love Casey to come out of retirement, that would guarantee he would stay out of the Reds broadcast booth as a fill in. His broadcast could be used as a sitcom laughtrack.

^ Love the mayor in the booth. He always keeps me entertained and he still has good insight from time to time.

And keeps the conversation on everything except what is going on in the game. Every inane event that ever happened to him while he played gets replayed on air. Without question in my bottom 5. But we digress. I wish he had one more year left in him to play first. A very hair brained idea today though.

We can possibly get Ted Williams out of deep freeze. Doc Kremcheck could get him ready and he IS Votto's idol you know.

Hell, if we are going to start bring up all the "blast from the past", why not dig up Gordy Coleman and throw his bones out there.

Marty just tells it like it is. Thom is a homer, scared to death to say anything negative about the organization.
