A Destination - Victoria National Golf Club Looks like this trip is being put on hold. We are now going to Blue Ash just north of downtown Cincinnati. One of my favorite public courses in the area.

November 8, 201213 yr RV is packed as myself and 4 others head back down to RTJ Golf trail later today. We are staying at the beautiful Ross Bridges resort once again and will get in 54 holes at the Ross Bridges course this weekend. Beautiful weather is expected with highs around 72 degrees. I picked up some Taylormade TP5 balls at Golf Galaxy yesterday, anybody play these and can give me some insight?

They aren't as long as Pro V1X's but I think they have more feel. I keep about the same number as Pentas as Pro v1X's in my bag and will play whichever one I grab.

November 9, 201213 yr Supposed to play over at Eagle Trace later this morning. I haven't been there since the first or second year it opened - before MSU took over operations. Might be ugly; I've only played once in the past 5 weeks. In the words of Billy Cunningham, I will give you a full report.
November 10, 201213 yr We teed off at 1:30 today at Ross Bridge and only got 15 holes in before darkness set in. What a great day on abeautiful course. I shot a 47 on the front nine with 2 pars and a Birdy. Three hockey sticks kind of hurt my scoring. I birdied a par 3 on #11 and got another par on 15 before having to wrap it up. It started getting dark at 5:15, crazy. Tee off again today at 8:30 and will play out the final 3 holes afterward. It's supposed to be 74 degrees today.

Greens weren't in too bad of shape. Son shot 91. He was poopy today. He can't putt his way out of a sack.
November 11, 201213 yr Posted a butt-ugly 89 at Eagle Trace yesterday. Beautiful day for golf but I never could get used to the speed of the greens - quicker than the munis I usually play. Five three-putts and twice in the drink add up quick! Butchered the par-3s; 5 over on them. I couldn't believe how many new homes are in the area and how many are under construction. And I thought the economy was tanking. Anyway, bad golf is better than work and free golf is even better!
