Murder of Beechwood grad in Boone County

Featured Replies

Why wouldn't it be enough time to clean up the evidence? If he killed her with a tape gun, all he had to do was take that with him along with his clothes and leave. It wasn't as if he tried to clean up the scene etc. All he had to do was take the weapon he used and himself out of there and change clothes and get back.

I guess that could be true. Seem very quick and calculated though. I would think if you murdered someone, there would be a lot of panic. Then he returned to work as if nothing was wrong? There seems to be a lot of unanswered questions.

To add to Guru's thoughts on the case. I don't believe Dioley was some sort of genius. I actually think he was quite stupid.

What I wanted to know is, if Dooley claims he ripped his pants or that his wife saw the ripped pants then why didn't the detectives ask for them? Why didn't they get them and do dba testing in them.

It it is pretty clear to me that when Dooley left that morning it was to dispose of all the evidence he had so that pretty much ties it all together for me.

It it also answered the question which I stated last month about the husband couldn't have done it because the video showed her driving into the lot.

Like Guru said, there just wasn't enough questions answered for me but enough that I would have found him guilty.

2 things about the ripped pants. 1. If i rip my pants i usually throw them away. 2. He's now saying the ripped pants story is just bogus and his wife heard him wrong and he ne er said it. So there wouldn't be any pants to provide if it never happened now according to him. But that's just my take on it.

But remember the wife said in the interview after she changed her story from her saying he told

her he ripped the pants to then she said she saw the ripped pants hanging in the bedroom and thought he came home to change them. So apparently according to her they weren't thrown away, they instead were in the room.

I don't see how 12 people were all on the same page with this one.

Why not?

Lets look at what we know.

They have video of her arriving to work. No one was seen leaving after the murder except for the janitor.

the police got there and locked down the entire facility not allowing none in or out. The only person they saw on the video leaving after the murder was the Janitor. He was also the only one that changed his story several times along with his wife. He was also the only one that refused to take a polygraph test. The others that did take the test all passed.

I don't find it hard at all to believe that 12 people could convict him.

It was also brought up about if he was the janitor then wouldn't he have a key to the payroll office? The answer is no. There are several offices at my work the cleaning crew etc. don't have access to. If he cleans that office I would bet its during the day when there are people working in there and probably why he doesn't have keys to that office.

I'm just going off of what was on the show.

I already stated a month ago when her husband was a suspect according to some on here that he couldn't have done it because there is video of her driving into the facility. Again, as far as the janitor, he was the only one who left after the murder and along with the lies he told, very easy for 12 people to convict him IMO.

Beyond reasonable doubt with the lack of physical evidence? Not saying he didn't do it but 12/12 believing he did it shocks me.

Somebody had to go to jail over this. They weren't going to let Dooley walk knowing Mockbee was bludgeoned to death. I have a hard time understanding how no physical evidence linking him was found. Just because his truck was spotted leaving doesn't mean he murdered her. That place was so big he could have been on a completely different side if the building.

I think he did it but I wish he would just admit it and explain how.

Need some lawyers to chime in on this.
