Good game as the Birds left the tying run at 2B in the top of the 7th. FR Jones and SO Cochran pitched for the Birds. Key hit was a 2 out bases loaded single by McNick in the 4th to keep them out front. Some nice pitching and defense by the Birds to get out of a bases loaded, 0 out situation in the bottom of the 6th without any scoring by McNick and keep the deficit at 3.

 

Birds are off today and next play at Simon Kenton at 7:00 PM on FRI.

 

 

P.S. They have some very nice facilities coming together at McNick. Looked like the turf football field was brand new.
