UK brought in some kids. From the picture I saw they had him as a TE. Obviously, that could change. I would agree with the Nichols comparison.

I have been saying this for 2 years now. His chances of playing at the next level in Highlands system is playing on the line....IMO!!! I hope I am wrong though.

It's not uncommon for big high school TEs to be moved to OT by colleges. It's becoming a high-demand position and it needs tall and athletic linemen to protect the QB while passing. Needs good feet to help with speed rushers. Needs length to keep defenders away from the body.

What does anyone think of the Highlands defense? Was up watching practice the other day and thought Heck and Murray looked good. Heck looks like he has bulked up since last year and is fast, will be a good addition. Bardo also looks good.

I am surprised with how quiet the Highlands faithful have been this summer regarding the varsity squad. There's been way more discussion of Highlands' frosh team than Highlands' varsity team in the past couple of months. What's up?!?!?! With Highlands trying to win a state-record sixth straight title, and with an upcoming scrimmage against defending national champ Trinity just over a month away, I would have expected BGP to be blowing up with HHS talk.

That is because anybody who has been around these types of runs knows it is a marathon and not a sprint.
