Do you think Pikeville and Paintsville are the two best teams in Class 1A?

These two teams just battled it out this past week. Pikeville just edged Paintsville in a 9 to 8 road win. There has been talk that Pikeville would be the considerable Favorite to win the Class 1A Title in 2019. After hearing the results of this game, What’s your thoughts?

Way too early to know. Campbellsville, Williamsburg, Hazard, and Raceland are still in it for now. I suspect the list will barrow but I personally think 4 or 5 teams could win class A this year.

Paintsville's performance versus Pikeville brought the image of Pikeville back to the rest of the class. I think that game gave several teams more confidence that they can win this class.

Don’t sleep on Campbellsville, have one of the best players in the state, they will bounce back after last weeks loss.

The east teams are all very familiar with each other.
