Dante’ Hendrix Named Freshman All-American

Former Cooper WR Dante’ Hendrix has been named a 1st Team Freshman All-American by Phil Steele’s Post Season awards.

Hendrix led Indiana State in receiving with 47 catches for 681 yards and 4 TDs finishing 7th in the MVFC among all WRs.

Indiana State was 0-11 in 2017 and 7-4 in 2018 and finished 3rd in arguably the toughest conference in FCS.

Wow, what a turn around season. Congrats to Hendrix and Indiana State. Very impressive.

If Hendrix keeps improving, the NFL has shown time and time again they'll find great players regardless of where they're playing.
