The Bigdog
Bath co should be the district favorite. Big and strong up front with one of the states best running backs in Swartz. Should be Bath co. Year or will Johnny run his welcome out in wildcat nation.
HedgeHog8
The Scouting report says Bath Co. is returning a lot. They will have a very strong senior class highlighted by Swartz, who asides from seeming like a good young man is one heck of a runner. From what I saw at the weight lifting meet Bath Co hosted, they will be strong across the board. Good luck to Coach Poynter, his staff and the boys as the summer starts to heat up. All the Right Moves
Could be a good year on the new turf for Bath County. Like all teams you have to show up and play your best every week and stay healthy. Early season opponents in Raceland (grid), 3A district 8 favorite Powell Co, and top 10 Western Hills and Mr. Football candidate Wandale Robinson will give the Wildcats great competition in the 1st few weeks to get ready for the district. District 5 winner gets home field thru the playoffs and that has always proven huge. Time will tell.
