newarkcatholicfan Posted February 25, 2018 Share Posted February 25, 2018 The Wildcats(2-3) unleashed a 17 hit attack on the road, at Kansas(3-2) The Jayhawks had 19 hits of their own but committed four errors and that was a big reason they fell in this one. Willie Bourbon(Riverwoods, Ill.) had a bomb along with three hits total and he drove in five, for Northwestern.Connor Lind(Arden, N.C.) had two hits and 3 RBI.Jack Claeys(Eden Prairie, Minn.) and Leo Kaplan( Santa Monica, Calif.) each had two RBI. Ryan Bader(Mukwonago, Wis.) 1-1 earned the win. For Kansas Owen Taylor(Grand Junction, Colo.) had 4 RBI to lead the offense.Jaxx Groshans(Magnolia, Texas) had three hits.
