Kentucky Hunters for the Hungry

I love the idea of potentially donating after I get the freezer filled. Hunting plus helping those in need is a complete win win.

I was looking through the website and I ran across an application for hunters to be matched with landowners with excess deer populations. I think I’m going to apply for 2018 just to see what happens.

Has anyone else either donated or been a part of the program?

The processor we use to use quick doing deer a few years ago. It was really close to where I hunt and they had a refrigerator truck they would put in the parking lot for after hours. We use to donate several per year but after they closed I don't think we've done one. Just not a great option that is very close to us anymore.
