newarkcatholicfan
This one just ended and I am happy I stayed up to watch it. San Fran (6-3) played good enough to post the win over U.C.Davis(7-3)in a game with few fans in the stands. Leading the winners was Frankie Ferrari(Burlingame, CA) with 19 points off of the bench. He added 5 assist to round out his night.Chase Foster(Highlands Ranch, CO) added 17 points, with 3 assist and 2 rebounds. For UC Davis Siler Schneider(Lansing, KS)had 19 points. San Fran shot 51% from the field, while UC Davis connected on 45.5% of their shots.
Science Friction
I can remember USF being ranked #1 in the nation. I believe it was '76-77, when Bill Cartwright was the star of the team. I'm old.
OlDog75
I can remember USF being ranked #1 in the nation. I believe it was '76-77, when Bill Cartwright was the star of the team. I'm old. I bet Bill Cartwright and the Dons back then appreciated the benefits of hominy. Heck that may have been one of the reasons they were so good in 76-77. newarkcatholicfan
I have been keeping up with them since I was a kid. Seldom get to watch their games, because I usually work the early morning shift.
