Content1
NKY 3A Region 5 track & field results It turned into a great evening last night for track at Dixie Heights where many enjoyed new track records and new PRs. Congrats to all who qualified for the state meet, as well as, setting a new PR. The track was fast and apparently based on the following results the temps were complimentary! Team wise, Ryle won the girls regional, and CovCath won the boys! The Campbell County girls began the evening of setting new track records when the 4x800m relay won convincingly with a time of 9:55.34. Ryle's Juliet McGregor followed suit by setting new track records in winning both the 100m and 200m dashes. The Ryle stalwart sprinter continues to set the bar higher, great job and congratulations! She also went on to win the long jump... Ryles success continued when Alexandra Patterson not only set the track record, but a new Ryle school record in the 800 with a winning time of 2:19.63. :thumb: Maddie Bloemer ( Ryle ) won the 110m hurdles and set a new track record. Rebecca Cline ( Campbell County ) won the 300m hurdles and set a new track record!!! Congrats to Grace Pavek ( Cooper ) who won the girls shot put and discus...well done Grace! Content1
It should be said that Ryle's Juliet McGregor is only a sophomore. No need to remind her competitors that over the next two years. ; ) She is a great athlete!
