1. Trinity (8-0) – The game against Eastern wasn’t much as expected. Next week against Seneca won’t be much better.

2. Male (6-1) – Male had the week off but still stays at #2. This weekend will be the featured game of the week versus St. Xavier. As mentioned last week, X and Male somewhat look at each other as their runner up archrivals. The emotion going into this game will come second only to the quality of these two teams.

3. St. Xavier (5-2) – For weeks I have been second guessing myself ranking Manual ahead of X but kept telling myself due to Manual being undefeated and beating some quality teams, they deserved and if X wanted the #3 position, they have a chance to earn. Well, the Tigers did just that 28 to 14 over the Crimsons. After the bad loss to Trinity, X really needed this win. Next week gets really interesting as X goes to Male.

4. Dupont Manual (6-1) – Manual's stellar season took a bit of a hiccup with its loss to X. Things don’t get a whole lot easier next week against PRP where Manual hopes to be able to puff their chests out again.

5. Christian Academy of Louisville (7-1) – CAL takes the regular season battle of the Mighty Mini Privates again beating DeSales 12-7. The last three games of the regular season should be a little easier for the Centurions as they will face Shawnee, Washington Co. and Franklin Co..

6. South Oldham (7-0) – Beating Bullitt East and staying undefeated bumped South Oldham one spot to number six. The rest of the season looks ripe for South to finish the year undefeated.

7. St. Francis DeSales (6-2) – DeSales just can’t seem to get over the CAL hump during the regular season and again this year fell to the Centurions 12-7. Can the Colts regroup again the triumph over CAL in the playoffs? We shall see.

8. Pleasure Ridge Park (5-3) – Last year the Panthers lost every game in the second half of their brutal season but this year PRP let loose on Butler 42-6. Such a great win makes the upcoming game against Manual look less daunting. Manual will obviously be favored but a PRP victory would not be a huge upset.

9. Ballard (5-2) – Ballard got the week off and this upcoming game should be pretty much decided in the second quarter as the Bruins welcome Jtown to their campus.

10. Bardstown (7-0) – Welcome to the rankings Bardstown. Seven straight victories earns the Tigers a spot in the rankings. Next week is Central which will be a very tough game.

Honorable Mention -

North Hardin (6-2) – After losing to DeSales, North gets back to winning ways beating a respectable Meade County.

Fern Creek (6-2) – Another win for Fern Creek against a decent team in Doss.

Teams on the RiseSt. Xavier losing to Trinity the way X did had to take quite a bit of steam out of the Tigers but a statement win over undefeated Manual puts X back among the Big Three.

Teams on the DeclineSpencer County Figures after propping up Spencer County last week they would go and lose to a team with a losing record. For that they fall out of the rankings and skid past Honorable Mention.
