LexVegas
I was at the meet and watched him jump last night. He cleared 7' pretty easily. He made 3 attempts at 7'2" and was very close to clearing that as well. I think he gets that before the season is done. Also not mentioned is the fact that 2nd place jumper Tequan Claitt from Bryan Station cleared 6' 8" and has a personal best of 6' 10". This all happened in the Fayette County Public School Championship meet. Quite a lot of talent in the other events last night as well. There were a total of 10 National Elite level performances turned in. 1,600 Meter Run 4:18.69 Ben Young Tates Creek 300 Meter Hurdles 38.99 Isaiah McCall Bryan Station 4x800 Meter Relay 7:56.64 Paul Dunbar 800 Meter Run 1:55.13 Elijah Olige Paul Dunbar 800 Meter Run 1:57.30 Ben Young Tates Creek Discus 172-6 Landon Young Lafayette High Jump 6-8 Tequan Claitt Bryan Station High Jump 7-0 Jaron Brooks Henry Clay Shot Put 59-0.5 Landon Young Lafayette Triple Jump 45-4 Robbie Lofton Tates Creek Pretty good quality meet from just the 5 public schools in Fayette County
