Silver Grove wins their second straight game defeating Latin 8-7. (Won over Villa on Monday 9-4).

Despite the Trojans jumping out to a 6-0 lead in the top of the first, the Trains kept their composure and took an 8-6 lead after 5 innings and held on for the win.

Heard Briley Seiter (8th grade) got his first varsity victory yesterday..Nice job Briley!!

Yes he picked up his first varsity win, coming in the first inning with the bases loaded and all the runs having scored. Did a good job of working out of that and then giving up two hits and striking out 8 over a total of 5 innings.

Briley Seiter record stands at 1-1 having given up a couple earned runs in five innings in a loss to Beechwood about 10 days ago.

Christian Pollitt (9th grade) got the save giving up 1 run in two innings.
