HHS is a better team. Not to take anything away from Boyle. I too hope we see Boyle vs. Bell but Boyle has to beat LC and Bell has no pushovers in its way in KC and Rock. Boyle has the easiest road b/c the other 6 teams in their region are not very good.

Looks pretty good to me, but I still say Whitley should be ahead of Corbin IMO. But with the Pups being undefeated it is hard to drop them. I think 6 of the 10 will be in the Regional finals.

No sir I am not wrong. Travel is part of the expenses! What was left after the expenses were paid??? I will answer hardly enough to re-condition a few helmets. I agree it should not be called making the playoffs, maybe post-season tourney or something but those teams don't make nothing. No where did I see mention of watching film although you say you are a coach? Maybe film study could help some?

Watered down is not the word I was thinking. Joke is more what comes to my mind. Getting beat by 60 or more is not a great memory or is it much of a motivational factor. And yes they are very boring. Nobody wants to watch a game like that. I know the Bell vs. MCC 1st round game barely sold enough tickets to pay the ref's and security.

They were a pretty good football team last year. Coaching is the biggest reason for decline. Little league is good but not the most important factor in sucess. Lots of the smaller County schools don't have little league. I know here in Laurel Co. and in Bell Co. that a lot of the better players don't step foot on a football field until Middle School or High School. Hard to belive Dunbar has fallen so quickly. It has to be one of the better jobs, talent wise in the state.

I agree it really makes for some :sleep::sleep:of games.

Ft. Campbell will be in L'ville when it counts. FS maybe better than some people think.

This was the first week of Tn. playoff's. How could a Tn team play out of state while the playoff's is going on?????

Hate to hear that about the younger Davenport. Hope he recovers quickly. He is going to be a special RB the next 3 years. Greer needs to be healthy for Bell to make a run to L'ville. Hope the coaches realize he will not get healthy playing!!!! Simpson and Carton will be able to carry the load for the next couple of weeks. I would look for Goodin and Harbin to get a few more carries as well.

I have heard that it is going to happen for sure, his departure from Mercer Co. that is.

I don't think this game is that big of an upset. Rock is 7-2 right now with loses to Bell and Knox. They play Whitley this week which will be a huge test.

No I was not insulting the county of my birth. Just the fact that is the attitude that the KC football program has had for years. :sssh: Bad calls happen but when you get called for multiple personal fouls and things like Coaches showing themselves you have a problem.

Only got to watch the 1st half but Bell looked very good. Leslie was impressive in the fact that they never quit.

That is what gets you an early exit in the playoff's.
