Best of the Bluegrass Roster
He plays on a team that has 3 players over 120 tackles, what makes him stand out? Do we have some reason to think he is better than someone that was selected and needs to be removed? Do we have film on Hudl people can see? It might seem like i'm busting your chops, but i'm genuinely interested. I'm also not in a position that needs to be convinced. Some kids that are announced will end up backing out of the game and replacements will be called on and I know Jimmy has Buchanans number.

Strength of Schedule
If you are playing a team ranked higher than 5000 and its not mandated by the khsaa as a district or playoff game then you intentionally have a weak schedule.

A Totally Reasonable Playoff Proposal
The deal that teams in Ohio learn fast is that you have to schedule and beat some good to great teams or you won't be ranked very high.(playoff cutoff, and home-field advantage) The alternative to that is if the majority don't schedule Trinity, BG, X, Male etc.... then they will end up scheduling each other.

A Totally Reasonable Playoff Proposal
A. Just drop districts all together like Ohio does and teams can balance schedules out however they want and if you get mismatched regular season games its on the schools. Doing the regions and classes after the regular season is BRILLIANT! B. Add in the open enrollment deal that Georgia has and we are golden. KHSAA should be ashamed!
You either didn't play football or weren't very good at it were you? The answer is competition, we love the game, we love competing, we love our friends on the team, a lot of them love the coaches, we love playing, we love being together, we love the memories, we love the smell of the grass, the turf burns, the blood sweat and tears shed together.

Calpreps/Maxpreps ratings pre-playoffs
Yeah, the rankings change from week to week when you add in those results. Thats what they do. Add stuff up, divide by games played. List a ranking.

Calpreps/Maxpreps ratings pre-playoffs
#1 they are ranked higher than North Hardin. #2 The rest of their schedule is 80% of the ranking. 80% is a lot.

Calpreps/Maxpreps ratings pre-playoffs
However we are talking about a ranking that you don't understand. Changing the subject by randomly saying the word playoff doesn't effect our issue of ordinal rankings. Let's go one more. When the Bills beat the Patriots at Gillette last month they didn't all of a sudden jump over them in power rankings. It didn't even mean they were a better team. This week the Patriots hammered the bills by an even larger margin. It's sports.

20% of the resume makes it more unlikely to be ranked under 2 teams you beat. Upsets happen and beating someone in a game doesn't automatically make you better. Just as the 3-1 lead Indians.
