I'd say Southwestern Pulaski in 5a since they beat Pulaski and the other 4 are in the west bracket.

Bardstown possibly in 3A

 

South Warren in 4A if they are healthy now, Wayne County has a shot

Newport Central Catholic and South Warren are 2 teams that have gotten to the carpet before that could do it again this year or are teams that could fit this bill!

Calpreps has Danville who got beat by LCA in the top 5. Lexington Christian went undefeated.

 

And LCA is ranked ahead of Danville, so no problem with that.

 

Owensboro Catholic beats Owensboro and Owensboro is ranked in the top 5 of 5-A. Meanwhile Owensboro beats #2 in 5-A Christian Co.

 

Owensboro Catholic is #6 in 2A, just behind Danville. One or two wins does not determine the rankings. There are always going to be upsets that happen that can make rankings look off. Danville played a little tougher schedule than O-Cath so Danville is ranked slightly ahead of them. That makes sense to me.

10 games for each team plus strength of schedule of 10 opponents. Head to head is 10% of that. Pretty simple, no come on man necessary.
