Can't tell me Mayfield has a 8.2 SOS schedule. So you don't get points for beating teams with high SOS or by how much you beat them. Nobody knows the formula for the power ratings. Yeah, the rankings change from week to week when you add in those results. Thats what they do. Add stuff up, divide by games played. List a ranking. First, each computer model has a different formula. Some of them are known and some are not.
