That's quite a list, but I don't see that many lower seeds winning in Round 1. Do you?

I researched this and posted it in another thread and will bring it into this one because it is relevant. Over the past five years there have been an average of 15 first-round upsets. ATL's main list above has 14. Looks pretty close to what we should expect based on that.

I don't think Lloyd should have much trouble with this one. Gallatin hasn't seen a defense anything near Lloyd's yet this season.

Last year calpreps was 91-4 picking first round games

Cooper should beat Bryan Station tonight, but that is why they play the game! It will be a fun matchup tonight and looking forward to the "upset" possibility

Of course not all lower seeds are created equal. There are several third place teams that are just better than the opposite two seed.
