The deal that teams in Ohio learn fast is that you have to schedule and beat some good to great teams or you won't be ranked very high.(playoff cutoff, and home-field advantage) The alternative to that is if the majority don't schedule Trinity, BG, X, Male etc.... then they will end up scheduling each other.

A. Just drop districts all together like Ohio does and teams can balance schedules out however they want and if you get mismatched regular season games its on the schools.
