Who wins, why

Central Hardin relies way to much on the run and Ballard does have a good tandem of linebackers that were effective stopping long runs by Trinity's running backs. Ballard wins convincingly, maybe not running clock but comfortably.

Why do you feel Central Hardin wins?

I think Central's defense will keep them in the game and the offense will be enough to carry them to a close victory.

I think Central Hardin's defense and home field advantage will contribute to the win.

Maybe. Ballard has decent speed and looking at Central Hardin's schedule all three of their losses came to teams with good team speed.

Does Ballard have a balanced pro style offense, do they run the wing-T or are they a spread offense?

Whomever is the even # Region hosts in an even year. So whomever is the Region 2 winner hosts Region 1 this year. Will switch next year. At least that's my understanding. Central Hardin had to play AT McCracken County last year for the Region Final, I would think they would host this year?

I'm almost positive the higher seed gets to host Round 3.

 

The 'even-region/odd-region' contingency I believe comes into play only when both teams are the same seed.
