  1. Some papers are members of the AP, but don't vote in the poll. It's really isn't a requirement that papers vote, so some don't.
  2. Fort Knox dodged a bullet ... well, maybe not.
  3. According to a thread on here, Adair won, 25-7. District 3 Breakdown: 1. Central 2. Elizabethtown 3. Shawnee 4. Moore District 4: 1. North Oldham 2. Spencer County 3. Western Hills 4. Henry County EDIT: Had the districts flipped.
  4. My bad. Don't know why I thought it was the other way around.
  5. It would have been an upset either way, IMO. And FWIW, Central Hardin beat Greenwood in Bowling Green last year in the same scenario.
  6. Thomas throws for 199 yards and 4 TD. E'town will play Western Hills in the first round of the playoffs.
  7. Undefeated Greenwood team against a team not in the playoffs. I'd say this qualifies as an upset.
  8. Their last regular-season loss came on Sept. 15, 2006, to Apollo, 18-13.
  9. To be fair, Cannon, it was fourth-and-1 from the 4. Central had a long field in front of it even if PSW missed that FG, and Anderson knew it.
  10. When was the last time County gave up that many points?
  11. Meade won last year's game in Death Valley. And, like last year, it was Meade's fourth consecutive of the season after that 0-3 start. I sense a similar finish this year, with Meade winning by two or three TDs.
  12. Tug Valley, WV vs. Shelby Valley Madisonville-North Hopkins vs. Marshall County Estill County vs. Phelps
  13. I'll say this: LaRue is very young and not very deep due to several injuries to upperclassmen.
  14. It was a combination of Marion playing well and LaRue not as well.
  15. To be fair, though, both teams still scored on those drives when the scores were called back.
  16. No. Had a schedule change at work and went to LaRue County-Central Hardin instead. Kinda glad we didn't cover that game, to be honest.
  17. So, who played the other half of the third?
  18. After LC went up 27-24, CH scored with 36 seconds left on a 3-yard pass from Pyles to Barr. CH sacked LC quarterback Jordan Brewer on a fourth-down play to wrap up its second win in a row over the Hawks. It was a pretty good game, but no pass defense from LC and no rush defense from CH.
  19. At least Reidland has a win ... I don't know if Knox will get one this year.
  20. Did you ever get the copy of the News-Enterprise preview? I mailed it out some time ago ...
