Meade County was up 39-29 midway through the third quarter before South went on a 10-0 run to tie the game. Stinnett then scored twice for Meade to push the lead to 43-39, but South converted a three-point play with 5:46 left and took its first lead with 3:04 left at 46-45. Meade County scored on a breakaway layup for a 47-46 lead, but South took the lead for good on a putback with 2:05 left. Meade had two chances to tie the game in the final 5 seconds, but Casey Hubbard's wide-open 3 went halfway through the net and popped back out and Nick Stinnett's 3/4 quarter court heave hit the back of the rim and bounced off.

The 11th Region was hosted at the Frankfort Civic Center in Frankfort in 2005-06. I was at the championship game between Scott County and Madison Central.

Saw Richie play against Frankfort High a few years back at Mason County. He seemed to be a good kid with a good head on his shoulders. I wish him nothing but the best at Harvard.

Indeed it is. And they won the North Hardin Trojan Invitational this past weekend. Coach Davis has that program headed in the right direction. He's a great guy and I love working with him. Haven't really talked to any of his kids much outside Justin Geary, but he has a good thing going in Brandenburg.
