Richie Cox, our QB/SS/LB committed this afternoon to play for Harvard. His total package will mean that he does not pay anything to attend Harvard. He is an outstanding young man as well as a very good athlete and football player.

He was recruited as an athlete- not a quarterback.

Thank you to his parents, coaches, teachers, teammates, and school administration for their role in helping make this dream come true for Richie.

Coach Buchanan

Congrats to Mason County and the Young man "AWESOME"! JD

Does he also play CF on the Mason Co. baseball team?

That is outstanding.

Congrats Richie Cox outstanding accomplishment.:thumb:

Fantastic!:dancingpa Congratulations young man and to your parents also. I'm sure they are very proud of you and rightly so.

That is VERY impressive!!!!

Congrats to Mr. Cox and his family. Best of luck on the next level.

Awesome.

FREE RIDE TO IVY LEAGUE.....WOW!! Congrats to you, your family and coaches!

Yes he does, and he hit something like 14 homeruns last year. IMO, he's better at baseball than football. He says he wants to be a doctor, and he's a very smart kid. Congratulations Richie!

Congrats young man! Your Parents are no doubt very proud.

This kid is really special... we found out first hand week one this past season!!! Congratulations to Richie and to Coach Buchanan. What an outstanding achievement for a very good athlete.:thumb:

This is great news for a very talented young man, not only on the sports fields but apparently he is very gifted in the classroom too. good luck to you richie!!

Congratulations Richie from the entire mcpapa family. Especially from your calculus partner; she tells me that your acceptance into Harvard would have been touch-and-go without her assistance.

Seriously, it's been a pleasure watching you on the gridiron and the diamond and we wish you continued success as you take "the next step".

See you and your family at a few baseball games as you finish up an outstanding athletic and academic career at Mason County.:thumb:
