Flyers got beat in all phases of the game. Oldham County is very good at what they do. Flyers still a team with no leadership, they done some positive things but got out blocked, out tackled. The score could have been worse.

We all know if you don't block and tackle you won't win very many games. I am sure Coach Ledford will get his teams attention this week.

:eek:WOW!!! :scared:

I can tell you that Oldham is very good. They only lost about 8 guys off of a team that went to the regional finals and losing ot Ownesboro in a close game

When was the last time County gave up that many points?

It has been a while since county gave up that many points the player called most plays before they happened the game plan was good, just no execution. It could have been worse. Oldham is good, but not 63 points good.

Wow! So the game plan was good, and the players made FC lose by 42 points. Talk about the buck stopping nowhere! It does sound like there is a leadership problem, as mentioned a previous post, but I don't think I have ever heard of a good game plan that ended in a 42 point butt whooping on your home field. YIKES!

I broadcast the game for Oldham County, and - although the Colonels are very good this year - I think the score was a bit of an aberration, as scores like this sometimes are. Franklin County isn't that bad...but they're teenagers, and when OC jumped out 35-0, they very clearly got down on themselves. Sometimes things steamroll on even good teams.

Oldham simply had too many weapons. Deron Hicks of FC did a good job of blanketing Oldham's top receiver, Hamby, who had just one catch for four yards. But six other receivers caught passes. And seven different running backs combined for over 300 yards rushing... I was also impressed with the downfield blocking by the OC wide receivers.

Congrats to the Colonels for a very dominating win...good luck, Flyers, the rest of the way in '08!

Thanks for the words of encouragement. Good luck to the Colonels the rest of the year.
