CAL played there 2 years ago, they where the worst lights I had ever seen. We had a hard time following the ball the lights were so dim.

:thumb:That's the way it should be, then maybe the high schools could have college coachs come watch their spring game. Right now college coachs can't come because the NCAA only lets them vist high school in mid April though mid may.

Christian Academy of Louisville is looking for a game for either week 0 or week 1. Does any one know of a school looking for a Game?

Max Godby of CAL is the best center in the state. He is 6'4'' 265 lbs squats 455 lbs Bench 365 lbs. 3 year starter, can T snap, shot gun snap, and long snap for punts and field goals. He has already been to U of L, UK, UT, and Western. He also is getting looks from LSU, Alabama, FL, and others. the kid has great feet and is very smart, 3.85 GPA.:thumb:

What kind of O and D does he run?

When I played I always wanted to be on the field, and kids are the same today. They want to play.:thumb:

LET THEM PLAY!!!

I respect your decision and all who make it, it is a big sacrifrce to send your kids to X, T, or CAL. I just think people should know and think of all of their options.

This is all very important, and you are right all contribute to the success of the team. You can not be a successfull program with out the scout team on Tues, Wed, Thu. It sounds like Trinity was the right place for your son, but people need to know that there are good alternatives out ther like CAL which might not be a Catholic school, but is an excellent faith based school (Christian) that will teach good values just like X and T, and the sports teams are on there way up. Remember the baseball team that beat X and T in the same week going in to the state last year.

This is true, but why not go to a place like CAL that has an up and coming team and be apart of building a program and tradition and play instead of being 1 of a 150 kids trying to get 22 spots not counting their 120 freshmen. There are very good program though out the state that might not have the tradition that X and T have yet, but they had to start some where. Kid have a very short sports life and if they can play then they should play. Most kids will never see the field again after high school. Football bring a lot of great memories and I think the ones that are made on the field are the ones that are the ricest, not just wearing a ring that others played in the game. There are lots of great alternative, good coaches, good academics, and discipline just like X and T. There has been kids that would have been a part time player at X and T or maybe not play at all, come to a place like CAL and end up gatting a D1 scholarship, (David Risher) why shouldn't kids have that opportunity. LET THEM PLAY!!!

CAL only has 4, 3 start most of the time.
