Lets say that an admin fires a good football coach and hires a dud. The coach underachieves with a team that should have won a lot more games. Don't you think that admin should be fired?

I think guys that aren't very good coaches can win because they have more talent than other people. BUT to me if a coach isn't working hard such as rolling out right after practice, not watching film with the kids, not preparing his team for games(kind of goes along with the first few) obvious coaching blunders in the games, lack of control of team, cheating ie breaking rules kind of like we have seen this year then I think that is grounds for firing. I don't think coaches should just be fired after a year or two but if it is obvious that the guy doesn't know what he is doing then why punish kids by keeping him. And again don't leave the administration out of this if they fire or hire a guy and it is wrong either way those people should be held accountable and THEY NEVER ARE!!!!!

They finished 4th in a district with no team with a winning record! They have 3 D1 Olineman did you hear that? Read that first sentence!!!!

Purple pride you have no earthly idea about football, go cheer for hoops. EXTRA scrimmages are a vast advantage and yes there might be a team mentioned on here that has won state titles that has done this for years.

There have been some guys that have won several state titles that have been doing it for a long time and nothing ever happened to them. And yes it is an advantage, if you don't think it is you don't know much about the game. If you have 4 or 5 scrimmages you are at mid season form during the first game. Those that follow the rules are the ones being cheated and unlike some that I am sure have played for these people that cheat NOT EVERYBODY DOES IT!!!! Some coaches have class and are honorable men. And if you think I am talking about your coach then you must know something that maybe the KHSAA would like to know.

Its public school football and you are going to have bad years, that is a fact unless you do what some that have won state titles and recruit. I said some that have won them, so if your panties are in a wad about that statement your coach might have done that. Now if you put 4 season or you take over a program that has talent and you don't win then yes you should be let go, BUT to many of these dip#$%^ admin who don't know if a football is stuff or has air are making the calls on things they know nothing about and THEY SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR FIRES AND HIRES!!!!!

Isn't Lafayettes coach a defensive guy? Played Dline, that should never happen with the talent that is on that team. Make excuses for the guy if you want to but that is real real bad.

if it was a UK it would be real bad. It would look like no one is at the game. The atmosphere would be VERY BAD.

It is not about the D1 guys it is the others that make a team great. T has so many very very good high school players that cant play in college but are great HIGH SCHOOL football players. Now I don't care if you only practice 1 hour a day with the talent Laf has they shouldn't get beat that bad by the Green Bay Packers. And if you go back over the last 40 years and see how many public schools have won the State Title, well if you look at that data and cant figure out there is a unfair advantage then well, bless your heart. Some public schools have some college players but they have 4 or 5 guys that are on the field that just cant get the job done. Trinity has a great team and they are just doing what the khsaa allows so that is how it is and as long as there is not a public private split God bless them because they are hands down the best football team year in year out in this state!

Not to sound like an A but I never put stock into what parents say because you just never really get the real truth, not to say your son wasn't a good player just saying parents are always thinking about themselves and their son.

This has been going on for years and everyone knows it has. Why there have been guys that have won 5 or more state titles that have done it for years, nothing new.

I don't think people could even scrimmage when ol dud was scrimmaging and will be waiting to see if the hammer is dropped on the other schools that did it with him.

There is an old saying they use to say about Bear Bryant "he could take hisns and beat yourins and take yourins and beat hisns" well ol dud will be looking for yourins just you wait! And that isn't a compliment.

It is harder to walk on water in the flat lands than in the mountains. He has been doing this for years and everybody knew about it. Dud is finding out it is about the Jimmies and Joes not the X's and O's or should I say about him.
