Listen man Station has the most talent in the state so don't think SK cant play. BUT I will say this NO WAY and I mean NO WAY Station should ever give up that many points with ALL THOSE ATHLETES!!!!!! Ask any college coach in the state and they will say the most talented team in the state is Station. Now I didn't say best team just most talented big diff.

I know a coach who had a JUMBO TRON donated and the central office told him he couldn't have it because the other school in the county didn't have one!!!!!! He told them tell the other coach in the county to get off his butt and work like he did to get one. Needless to say he didn't wasn't aloud to have it. WHAT A SHAME!!!!

That is the problem in most public schools, not much common sense used!

Unless they ran out of players which I doubt they did they will be the same ole BG!

if you have 3 kids like that that are considered among the top in the state then they should be very good if not then maybe they should have hired a high school football coach.

Well they should win at least 8 games if not more if this is the case.

And if you think after this year where what was it 50 coaches got fired by admins who have no clue, if you think a coach wont roll out in a min you are crazy. I know 3 head coaches and they have all said after the last couple of years how guys have gotten fired they are all on the lookout for the next job before the ax drops. NOW DONT BLAME THE COACH BLAME THE ADMIN for this because they are the morons who created this culture. And before any of you start spouting it is about the kids let me ask you this ?! Lets say you at your job ole Larry gets fired after 2 years ago his part of the office that he is in charge of was #1 in the company and lets just say that ole Larry lost his best worker and then 2 years go by and ole Larry's area has a down year and they fire him. Are you going to sit there and say ah to bad about Larry but they will never fire me? Well buddy you are the guy that didn't stands up in a fox hole in the middle of a battle in others words "you are clueless"!!!!!

That my friend was EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!!! You have these people running these schools that cant lead and unlike old coaches have never had to really deal with parents. So when little Johnny doesn't get that full ride from Alabama his parents blame the coach and not their own blood line. They complain (and it only takes about 2 sets of parents to get you fired) to the principal slash ex Science teacher and that ex Science teacher cant take the pressure and caves to little Johnnys mom and dad who are now parents of a graduated kid and said coach gets the ax. I say we start firing these principals when there test scores aren't good and I am not talking about moving them to the board like they ALWAYS DO let them go out like the coaches do and have to find another job!!!!!

I will say it again and again and again, it use to be that principals were old coaches because they knew how to run a ship NOWADAYS it is some math teacher that had the time to go back to college and get their principalship. So now you have someone in charge of a school with from 200 to 2000 students that has NO CLUE about running anything but maybe ACT testing on Saturdays. That my friends is the problem. And it is going to chase young people out of the coaching profession!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No nobody put a gun to your head but that is a shame that the admin care that little about kids!!! Think about it, they have a sport and don't support the kids that play. And the south would fire a principal like that, he wouldn't last the school year.

Again I have said it a few times and will say it again. You have admin who absolutely know anything about sports and see these D1 coaches getting fired and think this is the thing to do. The admin need to be held responsible for it.

Well what Jr. high coach are you talking about. I don't know any that have year round weights, passing so on and so.

I have to disagree with you, Jr. high coaching isn't close. How many hours in a year does a jr. high head coach spend on football? I would say about 10% of what a head high school coach does. And there are a lot more issues to deal with.

Woodford County did it. And then he hired a Jr. High coach to run his offense.

No one can ever take a job and say they are 100% sure they will not leave. I think it is a pipe dream to think in today's world any coach will stay around like they did 30 years ago. With the way parents and admin are today.
