You guys are jumping the gun on me because I never said they deserved to be higher. All I said was there is not that much room between 14 and 6. Ive never put much stock in home winning streak because other than the Landon Slone led Painstville teams SV was much more talented than most of those 53 teams.

If BGP thinks Christian is 6th and SV is 14th then I can tell you there is not much separating any of these teams because I watched them go head to head. Should be great regional tournaments and Sweet Sixteen this year.

No Doubt Christian has a gauntlet for a draw but the team I saw at SV a couple weeks ago seemed very game and well coached. I dont see them backing down from any challenge.

Good post. Im a Valley fan but this game went as it should have.....SV actually didnt play that well. They shot like 30% from the field in the first half.

Downey makes bad and difficult shots. He took it to our guys when it mattered. If he was playing with 4 other pros he wouldnt take all of those shots. The guy is a gamer give credit where it is due.

SV's two weak spots really showed up as it usually does in big games. 1. Depth 1 player off the bench scored 5 points for SV. 2. Free throws.

Just in from the game. First off my hat goes off to Christian they walked into a very hostile enviroment and played well from the opening tip. Back and forth game I think the largest lead for either team was 7 points. CC is extremely fast from end to end. They won the game behind the arc. I will try to get some stats later but I could not believe how well they shot the 3 ball. #3(Lewis) for CC played a great offensive game inside and out. SV shot very poorly from the free throw line and it haunted them late in the game. Justice played very good. I will post the final stats when I see them and I dont wont to guess. He had only one turnover. He missed a game tying free throw with less than 2 seconds on the clock. I want to point out that CC is very well coached. He made good adjustments and a seemed to really know the X's and O's during the game. Great game to watch now it is time to get some rest and heal up to make a run at the ALL A.

I think they will decide as the game goes along. SV wants to win this game but I dont think they will take a chance on the rest of the season for it. For SV to win the All A and perform well at Rupp these two have to be on the floor period.

From what Ive heard they are both playing tonight but not at 100%. Any sign of trouble they will be pulled. Booher wants them ready to make a repeat run at the ALL A and will not chance losing one of them for a regular season game.

Talked with someone close to the program and they said Hatfield injured his back in the Championship of the ALL A and has not practiced this week. I think he will give it a go tonight but it is going to be a see how it goes type of thing. Also Justice did not practice on Thursday because of tendonitis in his heel. Talked to one of the trainers who said yesterday it was swollen. Horrible timing with this game coming up but I guess we will wait and see how it goes tonight.

Cant wait to watch this game. I see it going into the final minute. Both teams play hard and fast with two really good point gaurds. Throughout his career Justice normally has big games against teams who want to press SV so I will take SV in a nailbiter. The last team to beat SV at home was Lex Cath I think in 2004 when they were #1 in the state. SV 79 CC 77

Billy D. may be trying to stir the pot a little within the UK locker room.

UT had a chip on their shoulder and I think after a week of hearing everyone saying their season was over had something to prove. I actually was rooting for UT. Which maybe the first time that has happened. This will actually help the SEC and also Kentucky's RPI down the road.

Tough Loss for the Bengals. A game I really thought they would pull out. This team had a solid year and dealt with two deaths. Here is to next year and the first Steelers/Bengals game. :popcorn:

Not a Bengal fan but your list looks fair other than Marshall and Johnson on the same team. That would be fun to watch play out.

Strongest WYMT field in many years. Knott and Perry are solid and will be playing in their backyard. SV may be the favorite but it wont be easy.
