Guys Justice has played against bigger and stronger guys all of his life. He has always been told he couldnt compete. That is why he has worked so hard on his body and his game throughout the last 4 years. This kid has not been stuck in the mountains playing lesser competition. He has traveled and played AAU basketball for the last 8 or 9 years. This all started this summer at the AAU tourney in Las Vegas, against what most would consider top flite competition Justice played very, very well. I would guess that most of the kids looked taller, stronger and quicker than Justice but he quietly holds his on very well. There were a couple of plays against Fab Melo in particular that raised some eyebrows.

Word here is that Pitino is coming to SV this week to watch SV practice. What I have been told is it will be extra tight with only players, coaches and Pitino and company allowed in the gym.

McCarty did come down and watch some pickup games last week and talked with Coach Booher. From what I have been told the offer is to walk on year one with opportunity to move up on scholarship. To back up my point on another site today I found a post that said "is there any truth to East Kentucky Native Matt Figger and K-State having interest in Justice" No doubt it is someone who read this thread.

This honestly surprised me. I knew at the start of the season the only sellout was the Steelers but figured winning and beating two of your biggest rivals had taken care of this.

Good win for the Bengals. Honestly I thought the Ravens would rough them up.

This is a complete rumor that I have not confirmed. Im friends with he and his family so I did not want to throw his name out there like I knew something for sure I didnt. Its not that I thought anyone couldnt dig up the info. Or should I have done like so many on here and called him a source. Or I could call him my banker.

Not sure if I should post his name or not. He graduated from Jenkins. Started out in Juco. Ended up with Pelphrey South Alabama and then on to K state.

Guys first off I will admit Im a SV homer so take it for what its worth. Elijah would be about 5'10. He finished the season last year at over 40 % from the 3line and has a lost art for a lot of high school kids the mid range jumper. I dont think anyone can question his ball handling skills. One day this summer the kid is in the gym by himself when I saw him he was already in a thick sweat. He proceeded to shoot jumpers for the next 2 hours. I honestly wouldnt guess how many he put up that day. And from what Ive been told if he wasnt traveling and playing this was his routine. Last year SV played Walton GA. They had Glen Rice Jr which everyone knew. They also had A kid by the name of Harrow who had committed to NC state. I know at one point this summer Rivals had him as a 4 star and a top 10 PG. Elijah was the best player on the floor THAT NIGHT and it wasnt close. Elijah picked his pocket at midcourt in the second half the crowd went crazy and the Harrow kid was done. Im not going to set false expectations about where he should or could go I just hope he reaches his maximum opportunity. If a bigger school takes a chance he could be one of those kids who come out of nowhere to have nice careers. Anyway way just glad to see our little hometown guy from Dorton KY get a little recognition. Also Kansas State has an assistant from eastern Ky and have heard they are asking around about him.

This game has gone as expected.

This game may have been decided on 4th down. Bengals converted 4th downs on the final drive and also the monstrous fake punt. Steelers kick a field on 4th down from the one. And then go for a 4th and dont convert and give the Bengals good field postion for the field goal at the end of the half. The Steelers were running and throwing effectively the whole first half and had Palmer rattled. This looked like the same games they have played the last few years. The Bengals get the FG and at halftime realized it was just 13 to 3. They came out and won it in the second half. From a Steelers fan perspective it was a replay of the Chicago game. This team better wake up and realize they have the bullseye on their back. The Steelers linebacker play has not been good so far. In the second half I realized that the announcers hadnt even called Woodley's name.

This is the Bengals/Steelers game thread. My younger brother passed away two years ago from a brain tumor. He and I had big fun out of this rivalry. We actually attended a game together at PBS. We sit in the Wheelchair section on the 40 yard line. Just ribbing you guys out fun and brings up a lot of good memories. As soon as the clock ended my mom called me and ask me if I had his 85 jersey on. I said that aint funny and she said your brother would think it was. So enjoy your victory and dont pay any attention to me. Who Dey WE DEY!

A few years ago the Bengals beat the Steelers at Heinz Field. After the game Chad Johnson(before he changed) said get ready guys were at the top of AFC North and were going to be there for a while in his postgame press conference. Well the Bengals finally beat the Steelers again. We have won two Super Bowls since those comments. Now thats arrogance coming back to bite you.
