Shelby Valley 100 Ashland 57

Featured Replies

Final. Shelby Valley led 37-16 after the first quarter, and Ashland was never really able to make a run. Elisha Justice led SV with 22, Ashley Hatfield with 15, and Devan Adams with 14....

SV played well as a team. The eight players that make up their main rotation all scored in the first quarter as they were spreading the ball around. Justice dominated the game on both ends of the floor. Ashland had some good 3 point shooters but Valley had them from the start. Nothing to get real excited about we will find out more about Valley this weekend against Henry Clay and Walton GA.

I'm not sure what to make of Ashland... they don't look to have a bad team, but they just don't seem to have any playmakers. They shot the ball fairly well, but the big man didn't do very much.

Is Ashland the 3rd ranked team in the 16th?

According to Cats' Pause they are...

Is Ashland the 3rd ranked team in the 16th?

After Elliott County and East Carter it is a steep and drastic drop to #3. Any of five or six teams could claim #3. None are a threat to win the region.

I agree, I think you could make an argument for Ashland, Bath, or Menifee even as the 3rd team in this region, and none posing a serious threat to the top two.

WOW, this was quite a surprise
