  1. With for Dunbar had a solid game inside. Dunbar had some scrappy athletic kids who played very hard. I can see them improving as the season moves along. Justice I believe had 25 and a solid game. One thing that SV has some work to do is defense. Last couple of years Justice, Bryant and Varney could really play loose and gamble a lot out front and if they got beat the other team had to shoot over their bigs. This season they do have the same presence at the rim. Overall a solid win and plenty of things to work on.
  2. I agree that Perry County probably doesnt belong there yet but could very possibly play there way into the rankings. No ranking is going to be completely right but this is probably the best one Ive seen. IMO :thumb:
  3. Its a great time....preseason and everybody has a chance.
  4. 4th Concussion since 2006 and that includes the wreck. He passed initial test but experienced headaches this week after practices.
  5. Both teams went at each other hard. SV owning the paint and Logan making a lot of 3's. In the end SV seemed to be in much better condition and pulled away in the end. The E. Justice and Noah Cotrill matchup was great. I had Cotrill unofficially with 43 and Justice with 37. Justice had two dunks and probably around 10 assist. If I can get some official stats I will add them. Great game to watch give both teams credit for great effort.
  6. You would think last week would teach you guys to not count your chickens before they hatch.
  7. He passed the initial test but another hit to the head a week later is to much to risk.
  8. Thats funny LRCW I saw it also.......Did anyone else notice the UK fan in a tight UK shirt. They put the camera on him and he was clapping and looking down at his bicep to see how it looked. He was getting his flex on. It was hilarious.
  9. If you would read my post I mentioned that the Steelers got it handed to them today. A Bengal fan started the Final Score thread on the Steelers game and all the Bengal fans were going in and having their fun, and trashtalking as the Bengals were still in the first half.....maybe the Bengal fans should wait a couple of hours next time. That is Karma. The Bengals are decent at this point just like a lot of teams nothing more nothing less. And you guys are so predictable Im going to go ahead and say it. The Steelers are beat up mentally and physically and have some major things to fix and oh yeah they lost twice to the Bengals. But in Bungle fashion you cant handle prosperity.
  10. Ive read that the Bengals served one up, poor playcalling, and several other excuses. This is all stuff that all you guys were laughing at us STeelers fans last week for saying now you saying the same things. Karma baby you got to love it....Lucky for the Bengals the Steelers and Ravens got it handed to them today also. Is the AFC North full of average teams?
  11. This is all those classy Bangal fans chiming in. The Steelers are obviosly beat up mentally and physically. Another costly kick return. They are still in good position for a wild card they just have to get some people healthy and start taking care of the little things. Almost all of the post in this thread is from Bengal fans and that is fine youve took beatings from the Steelers for a long time and this is your time in the sun. Just remember the NFL is very tough and everything can change in a blink of an eye. While your on here talking trash it just takes one hit on Palmer and its all over. You are having a strong year and should be in good postion for the playoffs. This is a very bad loss and Im sure the Steeler organization is already working on what to do to fix things.
  12. Colts > undefeated....Manning Bengals > At this point may be the most complete team Pats > Great offense still geting better Steelers > Need to buckle chinstraps and fix some holes that are fixable IMO Chargers > Playing good football right now
  13. Hey guys this brings back old memories of when I wasnt one of the only 15th region mountain "valley dwellers" on this site. But I have a question I know of a youngster who handles the pill with sick skills and is deadly from inside of 8 feet. He stands 49 inches tall and his mom is left handed. He shoots right but swings a basball bat and golf club left which I hoped would qualify him for this thread. He is now in a Shelby Valley feeder school and may dress on the frosh team this season. I will keep you guys posted for the next 12 years.
  14. This was a great game. Watching Watkins and BJ Roberts go at it like heavyweight fighters on both sides of the ball was really fun to watch.
  15. Kids had basketball games this afternoon so I had to DVR the game and just got finished watching. Went to change my avatar and I guess someone changed it for me. Not sure about that but anyway........The Bengals won all of these categories today.....coaching, offense, defense, line of scrimmage, rushing, passing, blitzing, stopping the run, coaching, covering, special teams, turnovers, QB battle, coaching, pass rush, blocking, tackling, spirit and heart, they wanted more(motivation), catching, smartness(two defensive penalties on the last drive) and basically any other football fundamental I'm leaving out. I guess the closest thing they competed in would be field goal kicking. Needless to say Im very upset with the way this football team was prepared. Bengal fans should be very proud of their team.
  16. Probably was but so far in these threads this week anything goes.
  17. I say TP because he is the only safety in history to pick up Chad Johnsons Gold Teeth and reach them back to him after they were knocked the heck out.
  18. Here ya go O Rookie...... Chad Johnson has had ONE 100 yard receiving game and 3 TD's against the Steelers since IKE TAYLORS Rookie Season in 2003. Ike follows him all over the field no matter where he lines up. That my friend is domination of a very good #1 receiver who he plays twice a year. End of discussion.
  19. BJ Roberts for SV is one heck of a player on both sides of the ball. He is a running back, returns punts and kicks and plays linebacker on defense. He is one of the better players in 2A.
  20. SV has a good team but on the road to Corbin is a tall task.
  21. There is not a wrong choice here. Something that does not show up in a stat line is disruptions. TP lines up all over the field. He may go streaking through the backfield and turn a running back into James Harrison and its not a play that ends up on stat sheet. This is why opposing coaches and analyst that really study film have so much respect for him. They call Reed "Big Play" for a reason what can ya say. :thumb:
