Does anyone have a link to these rankings?

The first Litkenhous Ratings of the season will be available online this coming Monday, Jan. 4, and appear in the paper on Tuesday, Jan. 5.

I've yet to see DC's ratings yet.

These rankings were very accurate last year, lol. :laugh::laugh: I think they had two teams in the top 10 that didn't make it to Rupp and four teams ranked ahead of Holmes heading into Rupp. Way to much emphasis on margin of victory, i.e. Elliott County last year. Lot of good all those points for their starters and very limited playing time for their bench did them come Sweet Sixteen time. BGP rankings a little more accurate even though it is all a crap shoot sometimes.

How high were they ranked? What place did they finish in state?

Guys I think we all know SV shouldnt be #1. I think Ballard has earned that title. A lot of the teams within 2 hours of SV are very bad and SV is going to beat them badly which will keep them at the top of these type of rankings along with Cantrells.

Litkenhous rankings as a whole are a joke. St. X isn't close to being a top 20 team and he has them at #17.

Holmes being 16th in Litkenhous is a joke. Anyone with basketball knowledge knows that Holmes is a top 5 team.

Cantrell is obviously biased with Lexcath at #4 and Lafayette at #8. Lexcath might not even be a top 10 team, let alone top 5.

 

Clark Co at #16 and Eastern at #18 is a joke and Boone just lost by 17 to Seneca but yet they're rated at #10 ahead of Seneca. :confused:

 

Just goes to show why Cantrell and Litkenhous ratings are horrible and a waste of space by the papers who publish them.

Do you think J-Town deserves#1? Lex Cath and Lafayette have solid teams.

Seriously these rankings are really bad. How in the world is Newport ranked last in the 9th region. They should be at least 5th or 6th.. Wow!!!

On the Cantrall Ratings ... the boys' and girls' region-by region ratings are reversed.

^ That explains a lot. I was very amused by WC's ranking in the "boys".
