Wednesday games of 7th and 8th and then 9th and 2nd should be some great matchups.

7th,9th, and 11th all in the same brackets. Looks like last years version of the lower bracket.

The winner of the 12th, depending on who it is, could do very well in the tournament.

I feel sorry for Christian Co if they get out of the 2nd region.

 

They could potentially have to beat Holmes and Scott Co to get to the semi's and then have to beat Bowling Green, Warren Central, Trinity, Ballard, or J'town to advance to the state championship.

 

That upper bracket is loaded.

 

GRC has a nice set up in the lower bracket. I expect either them or Shelby Valley to make it to the state championship as long as both win their respective regions.

Don't forget about the 6th region, will not be a easy game against them. But I do like our draw.

Iroquois would be only team out of the 6th that I could see giving GRC or SV fits and possibly beating them.

I know we cannot do comparative scores, but McCreary Central beat Seneca at the LexCath tournament and then Seneca beat GRC... If McCreary makes it out of the 12th, they may give a few teams a run for their money.

Very true...but then again, Aaron Morris can only take them so far. He'd need his supporting cast to step up in a big way.

That certainly has been the trend over the past several years.

When was the last time the second region rep didn't face a team that made it to the state championship or won the state championship?

 

I know Christian Co hasn't had much luck over the years they've made it.

In 2007 they played GRC. GRC won in over time. Then GRC lost to Ballard.

No Doubt Christian has a gauntlet for a draw but the team I saw at SV a couple weeks ago seemed very game and well coached. I dont see them backing down from any challenge.
