I think you mean Aaron Watts and his supporting cast is capable of stepping up in the same manner that Jarrod Polson's supporting cast stepped up last year.

I don't think the 4th region is a good draw! You need to go back and check the state tournament records. The 2nd is considered a good draw!

Just looking at the regions in general (7th being the best and 11th being the next best) how could you say its not a bad draw. There are atleast 11 or more other regions Corbin would have been better off against.

I like the optimism Les, but the 13th could have gotten a much better draw. Another year of 1 and done at Rupp for whoever does come out of the 13th.

This could be the year for a single 'A' school to win it.

Very bad draw for the mountain boys of the 13th region.

 

Would you like our draw (the 8th Region's)?? We drew the 7th in round one. Talk about your tough opener...doesn't really matter WHO it is who comes out of the 7th...

 

Doesn't matter. You have to play them sometime...

 

One of the toughest draws I've ever seen came in the girls' Sweet 16 in 1986. Oldham County won the 8th, and got a draw that forced them to play four straight top-10 ranked teams, including #1 and #2...

 

Guess what? Oldham won it all that year.

I would think so too. They are both in very tough regions were at least 3 or 4teams could win it.

I believe your perceptions are way off about a couple of these regions. The 4th Region has the fifth best win percentage during that timespan, and the 3rd Region has the seventh best. The regions you should probably most like to see would be:

 

-14th Region (Winning only 23.7% of their games in the last 29 tournaments, with no team since 1986 making the semis)

-16th Region (Winning only 31% of their games, and last year was their first team in 13 years to win multiple games in the Sweet 16)

-1st Region (40.8% of their games)

-12th Region (43.5% of their games)

-15th Region (44% of their games

-5th Region (46% of their games)
