Agree not the best draw they could have gotten.

That is the reason why Coach Stovall put together the schedule they have this year. They are number 7 in the state. I dont feel sorry for them. They should enter that game thinking they have as good a chance as anyone. Now if they dont win the second region, I will feel sorry for the team that does go to the state tourney. LOL

Same story as last year.

I feel as if it is a the draw sets up for a good tournament. First thing I checked was to make sure the mountain schools didn't draw one another. Bottom bracket definitely is weaker, but Clark Co. would be fun to watch in the finals. Holmes got a horrible draw again. Almost mirror image of last years draw. Could of used a little help this year. Sweet 16 is so awesome.

Very true...but then again, Aaron Morris can only take them so far. He'd need his supporting cast to step up in a big way.

 

I think you mean Aaron Watts and his supporting cast is capable of stepping up in the same manner that Jarrod Polson's supporting cast stepped up last year.

When was the last time the second region rep didn't face a team that made it to the state championship or won the state championship?

 

I know Christian Co hasn't had much luck over the years they've made it.

2007 (Christian County) - Clark County (Preston Knowles) - lost in second round

2006 (Christian County) - Shelby County (AJ Slaughter) - lost in second round

2005 - (UHA) - Beat Rowan County in first round, went to Final Four

2004 (UHA) - Trinity - lost in second round

2003 (Hopkinsville) - beat North Hardin in first round

2002 (Christian County) - Male, who lost in final four

I don't think the 4th region is a good draw! You need to go back and check the state tournament records. The 2nd is considered a good draw!

Just looking at the regions in general (7th being the best and 11th being the next best) how could you say its not a bad draw. There are atleast 11 or more other regions Corbin would have been better off against.

After looking at this....WOW!! That top half of the bracket is unreal. Almost unfair. Some great games in the top half could really be interesting. But would love to see a Clark Co vs Shelby Valley Semifinal Matchup.
