Yes Barnhill has improved a lot & I actually bragged on him over the summer more than once. That said he is still a little behind this group.

That is exactly what Raceland did earlier this year. They shot extremely well in the 1st half & played with Elliott that half. It will take 2 halves of this type of ball by Raceland. They are athletic enough and are coached weel enough to do it.

Solution ! - "The Administration & Parents" take turns coaching each game! Draw from a hat to determine the pecking order. Coach A runs practice until his game, then Coach B until his game,then on down the line until the season is over. Do this each & every year & maybe this can satisfy the Admin & Parents because who would want to coach in such a circus.

I said before the season started if they had a weakness it would this along with leadership. They turn over the ball quite a lot.

Cov Cath is a very good defensive team but it is not the big reason they beat Elliott. Its just as Fanofthe11th & Bogeyman said "they took care of the ball" & did a tremendous job I might add. Their point gaurd is very good as he was the key! EC scores so much off their press & trapping "D" but CC simply did not let that happen. EC had open looks in the 1st Q especially & they just didn't fall. Congrats to CC

I do not think Cov Cath dominated them. It was within 6 late in the 4th. Yes I would say they are top 10 maybe around 10 or so & so is Cov Cath.

I do not know what to say, having lost a brother way to early in life myself my prayers and thoughts go out to Trevor & his family. A evening that will be with them for the remainder of their lives. Thanks to the newspaper for doing such a wonderful story to share with the rest of us.

You could make a big list like this: Shelby Valley beat both DeSales & Male Paintsville beat Lincoln Co & there are probably more but I just did not look to closely.

Plus the fact Elliotts game the previous night did not start until 9:30 pm ! While Cov Cath played an afternoon game I believe somewhere between 3-5:30.
