WOW! Sounds like a lot of holes to fill. Is Beechwood going to have a lot of underclassmen playing? Seems like they were pretty young or at least the "better" players were underclassmen. I'm guessing that is why they struggled this year per their own standards. From past experience of watching teams, most successful ones are the ones that have a great supporting casts for the Senior group. Unless you have numbers and depth like St. X and Trinity, it's very hard to relay on just seniors and a few Juniors. You will always have to have a great supporting cast to compete and win a State title IMO. With that said, didn't Beechwood struggle at the Freshman and JV levels. What looks to be different next year for some to say they will beat the likes of HHS the next two years? I think someone said "mark it down" or something like that.

Wow, that is awesome. But from the looks of things, with Collaros only being a Soph., Isler wouldn't see the field. Barring injury of course. He is a great athlete but not even close to the same class as Collaros. IMO!

Isn't Monday night the "FTJFL 8th grade Bowl". This is a showcase of future S.C.I.T. Ft. Thomas will get a first look at what these young men will be like playing together next year as Freshman. Should be fun!!!!

Is he eligible for this coming season with his transferring from CovCath? Hope so, hate to see a kid have to sit out. Don't they live in Campbell Cty?

Why would he get anymore than anybody else? He is still part of the team. If HHS is seen on any level on a "National" stage, then the whole team is. Now maybe a couple players might be viewed more closely than others, but Towles isn't one of those. Not yet anyway, but could be by next year.

They may indeed allow the girls to end the day early (probably not) but then again, some decisions lately down there have just boggled my mind. FWIT, I am in favor of the girls being dismissed early to attend the game.

I would say part of and during the game. What happens during the game would be allowed to be discussed wouldn't it? Unless some type of illegal action then game on. So what was the meeting all about? Refs just warning two teams that are playing with a lot heart and desire to win with a lot on the line! Nothing wrong there!!!!
