Hey what about that '98 Scott County team I think they made some noise. But I think the cards just about always play team ball and if they havent that hasn't worked out too bad for them this year either

Wow im so sorry to hear that being a Scott County fan I have heard his named mentioned against against Matt Walls for mr basketball. I'm so sorry for the unfortunate event and I wish him to a speedy recovery and success at the next level

I am going to contradict son of bear I believe the regional finals will be SC and Station but I believe the cards win this one by 8

i say definatley scott co. because Henry Caly has had a bad season and I doubt they EXPECT to beat Scott County.

Yep and the sign that said Hicks has AIDS. I also want some opinions on the whole ripping off the shirts thing in the endzone which spilled out on to the court before the game. Did anyone else feel something should have been done about that.

I am not a Mason County fan but I agree 100% with the original post. I am a Scott Co. fan and I saw the mason county game. If you put any other player in the state on that team Scott County would have beat mason by 30. Darius Miller is something special and a difference maker. I think right now he is THE best player in the state. I hope he wears UK blue in the future and I hope we get a rematch. In other post I have said hopefully it will be the cards and the royals in the state championship. I think because of darius Miller the royals are the second best team in the state(of course I have to put the cards at #1). And just to tell you how good Miller is Scott county has a picture of him near the locker room on the dunk of the first season.

If you happened to catch the huntington game in huntington or the Catholic game i think you would see what I am talking about

Hoops Yoda you don't sound like you have confidence in the cards(i'm sure you do). I believe Scott County runs away with this one. You can bet your dollar that the Cards aren't gonna let up in this one. I do believe the Cards are the best team in the state but i have said it before and I will say it again I think Station might have something waiting for the Cards

You can't argue against numbers I understand but I promise you that anyone off the street could have coached several teams he has. I just dont agree with some things he does or the lack of changes after half time in some games. Don't get me wrong Billy is a great guy and a winner but not necessarly the smartest coach.

Hicks for Scott Co. is a great practice coach but not much in games

I'm Henry Clay,Lafayete,Tates Creek,Lexington Catholic I don't believe can beat us. I dont think Central can beat SC because they wont let up like they did last year. Like I said the only team in the 11th that can beat the cards are the Bryan Station Defenders. Which if you ask me is a really REALLY big possibilty

Man between Scott County Fans being whiners and the student section being so mean Scott County shouldn't even be allowed to have fans. It's terrible how all those poor teams they play have to put up with it

from what I saw it looked like the technical was given and then an assistant patted his chest to show that it was his fault. That is just what I observed

First of all I think Mason County will beat Ballard. And the only team i'm worried about this year is bryan Station. They are one of 3 teams in the state that can beat SC and They will have to play station to get to state. As far as Scott County beating Ballard being a fluke..........HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Matt Walls has played on the #1 team all year and beat the #2 team in the nation and was the leading scorer. He is automatic from the free throw line and clutch from anywhere else. Matt would average 40 if he played for E-Town. When E-Town wins something then I would consider Pettigrew.

WOW the refs were one sided and Scott County still won. By the way the technical was given to Billy but it was actually an assistant who said something. Matt Walls in my opinion should have just won Mr. Basketball. There is no kid in the state that has more heart and is more clutch. Anybody that can have their eye cut open twice and turns away from the refs in the game so he doesn't come out gets my vote.

I think we expect calls just as much as other fans. Aggorant of me maybe be but I think rightfully so. If you go to any gym anytime anywhere fans and teams are going to be unhappy with officiating if it doesn't go that way. I think people in Scott County just care as much about their team as any fans because it is a smaller community and for the majority everyone knows the players. BUT I still stand by what I said about there being obvious calls that have cost Scott county the game at Catholic..... I say cards by 13

Obviously you and others haven't kept up with the game in the recent years. For some reason Scott county loses to Catholic in their gym and wins by 20 at home. I remember 2 years ago when at the end of the game they called a walk on Matt Walls when he was still dribbling to end the game when he had a clear way to the basket. I'm sorry most don't likes Scott County because they are good but I think it's hard to argue that SC get all the calls at home when they will gladly go beat all the teams in the 11th region on the road. They lost to Central last year because of a coaching error but other than that they walked through the 11th. Scott County will be number one no matter what region they are in. And just to let all of you Anti- Scott County fans know the Cardinals are for real and you will be seeing them on top for years to come.

Catholic has a chance because it seems like everytime the Cards go in their gym the refs call the game a little one sided
