These two teams have some history to say the least: the 1999 regular season meeting at Scott County, the 1999 Sweet Sixteen quarterfinals, and last year's regional championship game are a few of the big ones. I'm assuming it will be senior night at Scott County as well.

 

I doubt anyone is giving the Indians a chance in this one......

It is senior night for SC. Should be a great atmosphere - MC always brings a good fan base. I hope we send Matt Walls and the other seniors off right.

Madison Cental is very good and very well coahed, but I don't think they have chance against Scott County unless the Indians and their coaching staff can pull another rabbit out of the hat like they did last year at Region. Either that or Hicks repeat his mistake from last year (don't recall what the mistake was exactly). In any event the Region Final last year was a fluke is what has been said.

 

I am very impressed with Matt Walls (would love to see a local kid like him at UK).

 

In the State of Kentucky Scott County has the best program, best team, best fan base, and best student section.......they were not treated with hospitality at Lex Cath last Friday.

 

Scott County should walk through the 42nd District, the 11th Region Tournament, and the Sweet 16 to become the 2007 State Champs.

Some folks think Coach Hicks put the stall on too early in that game.

 

I wouldn't call last year's win for MC a fluke. You have to have some things go just right to win the 11th region (or any) tournament. MC was fortunate to beat Woodford in the Semi-finals and then lots of things weht right when they beat my Cards. Things don't usually go "just right" unless you work your tail off - and the kids from MC did that. SC will have to have things go right to win it this year - it will not be a "walk" for sure.

 

Walls attended the UK game last night against LSU as Tubby's guest. They are working him pretty hard to walk on.

Someone said there was a Billy Hicks sighting at Franklin County last night. He can't be scouting Franklin County. They're just a weak middle sister program in the 11th. Is he getting nervous as it is close to tourny time? Is he bored? I don't get it. He's got the horses. Somebody needs to tell him to relax.....his team is darn near a lock to win it all this year.

I look for a good game in this one...both playing with alot of emotion. Scott win this one on Senior night.

Hoops Yoda you don't sound like you have confidence in the cards(i'm sure you do). I believe Scott County runs away with this one. You can bet your dollar that the Cards aren't gonna let up in this one. I do believe the Cards are the best team in the state but i have said it before and I will say it again I think Station might have something waiting for the Cards

Yoda, I've played 11th region Basketball, and I've watched alot of 11th Region Basketball, and I love it. You're team is very good.....and you're player's have the intangibles to go all the way......and I think Billy Hicks knows it........Thats why he's taking nothing for granted.
