Are there are any #1 seeds in their district tournament that you feel like may have a chance of getting upset. Give your legitimate reasons why you feel like this may happen.

54th- Perry Central could be upset by Buckhorn if the Horn comes to play. Will be a battle of the Perry County Schools.

 

55th- Breathitt could be upset by in county rival Jackson City if they don't come to play and under estimate the Bobcats.

 

56th- Lee could run into a buzz saw if they don't come to play at Owsley county. The Owls are at home and Lee county better not under estimate them or they could go home really early!

31st- Henry Co. they play a team that has been improving with every game in Carroll Co. if they overlook them it could be an upset.

Fulton County is the top seed in the 1st District and has to play at Carlisle County, which has been known to pull off an upset or two in the postseason.

If Silver Grove plays good deffense they could possibly knock off Brossart. We all know they can put up points. But it is unlikely.

This could be like Bracken Co. beating a good Brossart team in the opening round of the district tournament when Brossart was an All "A" state runner-up. I think it may have been the 01-02 season. But I don't see it happening.

I hate to say it but JC could beat Paintsville at Paintsville. JC just beat them by 9 recently. I hope it doesn't happen though.

Raceland could upset Russell in the 63rd. Not very probable but possible. Russell is not only a favorite in the district but are considered by many to be a favorite in the 16th region. Russell has beaten Raceland 3 time pretty easilyt but Raceland has the potential to play anyone tough and it is a big rival game.

I would agree and never count out Lewis over Greenup County as the game is being played in Vanceburg. Coach Joe Hampton of Lewis seems to get more out of less more often than not.
