I think the odds are better than most think, tough district, tough region, and the draw in the upper bracket will be a test.

I think they will miss Mr. Walls a lot next year. Others will step up, but he is the emotional and physical leader of this team.

 

They will also miss Jimmy Warren's defensive ball pressure and toughness.

I don't know how much luck had to do with that one sportsboy:sleep: They couldn't put it in the hole that night. We got them the year before at Ballard too.

 

I just hope we both make it that far... It's not the Bruins that we're worried about at this point.

Horrible officiating made it a 20 point difference? I dont think it was that bad and Ballard looked like one of the worst shooting teams I had ever seen that night.

First of all I think Mason County will beat Ballard. And the only team i'm worried about this year is bryan Station. They are one of 3 teams in the state that can beat SC and They will have to play station to get to state. As far as Scott County beating Ballard being a fluke..........HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

There are a lot more than 3 teams that can beat Scott County. Don't get me wrong. I think your Cardinals are the best team in Kentucky. I think that fact is undebatable by reasonable intellegent fans. However, in Kentucky high school basketball almost any team can win a one game series. Bryan Station is one of possibly 5 teams in the 11th region alone that could beat SC on a given night. The odds of SC getting to the state tournament are not good considering the good teams they will have to beat to get there. What are the odds that they will beat Henry Clay, Bryan Station, Lafayette, Lexington Catholic, and Henry Clay again? I didn't even mention Tates Creek and Madison Central. To get through the district and 11th region will be tougher than getting through the Sweet 16.
