Good win GC, look forward to watching you all play my Cats friday. Why cant Carroll score though? They have struggled every game I have seen them play in this year, and they have a good team...just cant get the ball in the basket.

:thumb: Definately. If anyone doesnt know how it feels to be shooting free throws to win or tie with no time left....it is rough. I choked when I had to. The pressure is unbelievable and for the young lady to hit those is veerryyy clutch. Congrats again. I know you all will represent the region very well!

My senior year Henry, Gallatin, and Owen were all tied for first and we had a coin flip. It would be pretty crazy if there was a coin flip for all of the seeds. This district is just really really competitive.

Henry and Carroll are both 3-3 with Gallatin being 2-3, and Owen being 3-2. If Gallatin beats Owen then everyone is tied for first place:eek:

Didnt see a thread on this. Big win for Henry County at Walton Vernona. Walton had been hot coming into this game on a 28 point win over Carroll. I can't wait for the All A. Anyone have any stats on this game?

Thanks. That kid is a player. I was very impressed with him. Number 5 was a pretty good player but he seemed to flop on every play. He was on the ground every possesion. He got into some of HCs players though, and I think he really affected the shooting of one of Hcs best players, Tillett.

Henry COunty didnt play there best ball tonight, but the Demons are pretty good. I can't wait for the All-A next week, this will be the best tournament in a looonnnggg time. Congrats to W-town! Oh yeah, and whoever number 14 is has a quick release and can fill it up. He had to have 5+ threes tonight.

HC by 16. At W-town might be a different story, but HC is a tough team to beat at home generally.

Minus Eminence you could almost just draw a name out of a hat. I really think any team could win it...but I think the favorite is Owen followed by GC HC and TC. With that said, Carroll could win it as well with home court and all. Its a toss up to me.

You've got a valid point...but they were ahead of schedule belive it or not when I quit there for college. With all the bad weather of late though with rain, ice, and snow I doubt they have done a lot of work. I hope they finish in time but who knows.

I worked for the construction company in New Castle working on HCHS this summer when I was out of college and, if they are on acoording to schedule, everything should be ready for the tournament. The school wont be done but in regards to the gym it should be done.

I am happy the scorekeeper kept his composure, but come on, I have seen fans from everywhere act extremely rude, especially when it is a tight game against a district rival. I am not saying anyone is right and it shouldn't be done, but there isn't any reason to bash HC for it.

First off, I wish Maddox the best on his return. He is a heck of a ball player. Now, I was the one who said Jones was overrated, and Iwasn't at this game this time so I woudn't know, but I have seen him quite a few times the past few years at different levels and, while I think he is a good ball player, I think he is a little over hyped, thats it. I can't say anything right now because I have only seen him twice this season (HC and CC games).

Anybody at this game? It seems like Henry County has really came along way since the beginning of the season. The 31st and all A seems to be pretty tight this year.

Henry Countys new weight room in their field house is top of the line. It is pretty unique. I dont have any pictures but I will see if I can get some from my old coach.

I agree with Etas top bracket, but I think Henderson beats Holy Cross and Grant beats east. I think Henderson will play Holmes for the championship and Holmes wins the tourney fairly easily.
