Anyone know who the "defensive player of the game" was?

This was probably the best officiated game of the year. Every game has questionable calls, this one did't have too many. We really need a big man. I am about to give up on Miller. I have been saying he will be something special one day, but I no longer see that. He has moments where he is the best player on the court, but then he just all of a sudden stops playing it seems like. Hopefully we can bounce back against another tough opponent. And....FREE ENES!!!

I had drill today at Highlands High School, and I have so much more respect for their community and team after watching the buses leave. Their fans were extremely nice and I enjoyed talking to them. I thought HHS would win before, now I really want them to win. Great community.

Excellent post 5wide. I agree with everything. I definitely think it would go 7 and could honestly go either way. If the 09-10 team wouldve had just 1 good shooter I would pick them in 5, because it would open up lanes and they would be wayyy too athletic for the 96 championship team. Its just a totally different game now, more on athletic ability rather than solid teams. The teamwork of the 96 team would probably win it for them.

He may not be the best that the game has ever seen, but he sure isn't a bad in game coach. Has he lost some games because of his coaching? Yes, but he has one more than lost with his coaching ability. Every coach has cost his team the game in the past. With knight having to sit as much as he did, I think coach Cal's game plan was pretty solid. We didn't win on great shooting by no means.

Whether this is true or not, no one knows. I just find it crazy to think Cam Newton would tell a school he didn't choose that he didn't go there because they didn't pay enough. If he, or his father said that, then they set themselves up to get caught. If they did it, I don't understand telling, and they pretty much asked for any punishment they receive. If this story is untrue, well, its a shame because it will tarnish his amazing season. If for some reason this isn't true, Thamel needs to be disciplined for his inaccurate reporting. I have never bashed Thamel, because people do screw up, but if this is true then he has screwed up to many times in a short period of time. I really hope this is untrue though, as I like Newton much more than Thamel.

I agree. I like Mizzou though. I hope they win. Just don't see it.

Don't forget that Mizzou has to lose as well. I don't think a one loss SEC team would jump an undefeated Big12 team.

Yeah they will. I hope it is Auburn and Oregon at the end of the year. I love Cam Newton and I have always been a pretty big Oregon fan. Love their uni's.

I am thinking the same four teams, but I think that Oregon will be 1 and Auburn 2.

This team is so confusing. I am really impressed with how much Hartline has matured. I don't care whate anyone says, the man has gotten pretty darn good.

I can see why the women's team has gotten so good. I bet coach Mitchell is a really fun coach.

Moore will surprise central this year.....

I got in, but the only tickets it could find for me were Diamond Level. Like I can really afford 4 of those. lol. Oh well. Guess I will be watching on TV. Gunna try to find some reasonable tickets on eBay. We will see how that goes.

Henry started off strong going up 7-0. Then it just went back and forth before AC started to pull away. And the final drive was around 70 yards (give or take).

One of the greatest high school football games I've ever witnessed. Henry drives the field to kick the game winning field goal with 16 seconds remaining.

Why are we going from talking about a football game to academics? This post isn't about test scores, it's about a football game.

Henry's D-line will be too much for holy cross's run game. i say Henry starts off the year with a big win.

I heard the Mgness has come back full strength so I look for this HC squad to be tough. I know a lot of the players and they are extremely hard working. I also know coach Johnson and I think he will keep this team at the same level coach Engstrand has put them at.

My bad guys. My dad was in the hospital and I wasn't thinking about this. I will pick it back up in the 2nd round if you all don't mind.

I will take the Kings and the Thunder if nobody else wants them.

I hit a Ping G15 driver, the new nike slingshot irons, some cheap dunlop wedges, and a Taylormade Rossa Spider putter. My game is up and down. I am soooo inconsistant. I have shot a 76 at henry County Country Club, and the next day I shot a 94 on the same course. I am good from 170 in. My dirve is so inconsistant. I never know where its going. Lately everything is horrible. I played today and shot 52 on 9. Iunno what I'm doing wrong!
