Gallatin County should not be overlooked, they won the 31st district tournament last year and only graduated 2 seniors, they have some strong players that have played together for some time Tanner Miles, Jake Giles, Nate Brown, Zac Jones, Holden Rea will be seniors leading the team this year.

Actually the best game WV had all year was upsetting Gallatin just to get to the all A classic.

It was Shane Williamson, he should be back playing next week, he hurt his knee against Owen.

Brannon Lillard pitched a great game, RBI's by Jones, Miles and Giles, Gallatin played a solid game.

I can't wait to see who Gallatin ends up with, we are capable of beating any team as long as they play together and don't get dowm !! Go Cats keep up the defense and keep rattling the bats.

Gallatin wins first round of districts behind the pitching of Giles and Lillard. Carroll and Gallatin in the Championship game Wednesday 6:30 at Henry County.

Jake Giles pitched 5 innings and Trent Maddox came in to finish. Good game again for the cats.

Lillard pitched the game for Gallatin, Gallatin had great defense and hit the ball well again, Tanner Miles had two stand-up triples.

Giles pitched 5 innings to get the win and Maddox came in to pitch the 6th and 7th inning closing the game. Giles allowed 2 runs and Maddox allowed 2 runs. Gallatin hit the ball well tonight.

Gallatins bats were silent for the first 3 innings, Maddox doubled bringing in a run, Giles hit a home run and hit a double bringing a run across the plate. Tanner Miles pitched a good game for Gallatin. Neeley was the winning pitcher for Owen.

There was a collision at first base, Grant County player hit his mouth on Terrance Oconner's forehead, Oconner was dazed for a few seconds and the Grant County player lost two teeth. I hope all is well with the Grant County player.
