Carroll County wins the All A Region behind solid pitching defeating Trimble, Williamstown, and Henry.

Have to give the credit to John F Jones III for what he has done for this pitching staff. For those that do not know he is Coach Jay Jones Father. He has developed kids who have not pitched for years as well as continued to improve the entire staff from the Freshman level to the varsity level. He also brings discipline and commands that the players respect the game as well.

 

Congratulations and thanks for bringing pride back to Carroll County Baseball.

Carroll County did have the pitching and that is why they won. Three games in the tournament for Carroll County. Two complete games, a 3 hitter, a two hitter and a 1 hitter in the championship game. Carroll County gave up 5 runs in those 3 games, only one was earned and their offense put up 29 runs on the board.

WOW, 6 hits against in a tourney. You have to respect a pitching staff for that!

When you score 29 runs in 3 games it takes a lot of pressure off the pitchers too. Carroll Co. has a good team with great coaches.
